Observatory are a creative visual production company that direct and execute content for immersive live and virtual events across our four verticals.

From concept to execution, we create experiences in the form of projection mapping, 360 installations, holograms and LED stage setups.


Ben Sheppee
MD / Creative Director

A hands on Creative Director who has won several awards for visual contents whilst working abroad in the US, Japan and Paris for 10+ years. Sheppee has directed several landmark projection mapping projects and has delivered and shows for A list music acts. His first company distributed art films, releasing 240 films by 70+ designers and he has written for publications on the subject.


Simon Harris
Director of Production

With his extensive technical video project management and production experience, Simon brings a unique skill set honed from 15 years working with visual professionals from all areas of the entertainment industry. From music festivals in the US, through concerts across Europe, to corporate events globally, he combines strong technical knowledge with artistic empathy to deliver the client’s vision.


Kelly Faller
Director of Marketing

Kelly comes to London and joins Observatory from New York, NY. She has an extensive background in Business Development and Marketing Integration working in digital media and creative production agencies. Her clientele consists of Fashion & Luxury brands, Entertainment and Higher Education, including Chanel, Bottega Veneta, Baccarat, DeBeers.


Chanikul Dechpholkrang
Lead 3d Artist

A 3D/VFX artist who enjoys blurring the line between reality and virtual, making people question whether effects being used at all. With an MA in digital effects,  Chan first joined the team from his background in projection mapping and has since expanded his skill set across platforms using a myriad of techniques. Oh – and a Qualified drone pilot.


Mike Faulkner
Creative Director

Experienced designer working primarily in installations, film, and experimental live performances. Beginning in print graphics, Mike’s work evolved conceptually to address social and environmental themes and explore collaborative processes. His works have been published extensively in print and on dvd internationally and his key projects have been toured by the British Council.


Raeon McKenzie-Abbott
Social Media Manager

Raeon collates research as she’s exploring the world through the internet, and monitors all of our channels. She has her finger on the pulse and operates the day to day running of our social platforms, working with partners to develop our presence online. She’s also a keen illustrator.


Valeria Matolo

With a background in management accounts, working for financial institutions in the city, Valeria moved into forensic accounting and now heads up affairs for Observatory. She is also generally the first on the dance floor with a glass of wine and usually gets the party started.  She keeps the paperwork and the boys in check.


Euna Cho
Marketing Intern

With a background in Menswear fashion design, Euna is experienced in design and strategic brand management having worked for luxury brands in London such as Per Götesson and Burberry. Currently pursuing her Masters in Culture, Policy and Management and exploring exciting opportunities to engage with digital technologies and fashion experiences.
