Observatory Expands With The Appointment Of Simon Harris As Director Of Production

Observatory has expanded its senior team with the addition of Simon Harris. A well-known figure in the visual production world, having previously worked for Bryte Design, Green Hippo and Avolites, Simon brings extensive technical video project management and production experience to his new role. Working closely with Observatory founder and principal designer Ben Sheppee, he will be responsible for expanding the global footprint of the business.

In 14 years in the industry, Simon has worked on shows such as Beyoncé’s Glastonbury Headline Performance, George Ezra’s 2018 European tour, EDC Las Vegas, Andy C’s Alive AllNight and sold-out 2019 Wembley show, Glastonbury’s John Peel stage and the T-Mobile Annual Conference in Manilla, among many others.

“I have been both a client and friend to Observatory for many years, so now being part of the team has been a natural progression in my career,” says Simon. “I’m excited to now be contributing and furthering the success of such a progressive and creative company.”
